Virtual Curriculum Night
As a means of connecting with EVERYONE, not just parents who are available on a set date, the staff is putting together a virtual curriculum night that you can watch at your convenience and with your kids. We know this is a shift from our initial plan, but we thought this would be a more inclusive and broad-reaching effort.
I will send out all of the links in an organized fashion next weekend. Teachers are putting their videos together this week.
October 3rd: Parent-Teacher Conferences for Selected Students
Having a virtual curriculum night instead of an "in-person" curriculum night allows us to open up conferences on the 3rd for more slots for parents to conference with teachers. Teachers will be purposefully scheduling with parents of kids who are struggling with class. If you are not contacted but want a conference, please reach out to your kids' teachers. This round of conferences is not for 100% of the kids. We will have an "everybody" conference in February. With 120 students each, this is our effort to connect with our parents of kids who are struggling most.
