First Week Wrap Up

We really had a great week with your students. We got to meet some new students and we were able to continue building relationships with our returning students. It was also really great meeting the new parents and seeing returning faces. I especially am grateful for your patience while working through parking lot challenges, and providing your ID each time you enter!

We really appreciate all of our parents and thank you for your understanding, and smiling faces each day!

Need to Add an Approved Pick Up Person?

While we are all getting used to Infinite Campus, we know that many of you need to add a person who can pick up your student. Until we are better able to assist families with adding additional people into Infinite Campus, please just email your teacher the individuals that you would like to add. This is an ECE practice only, if you have students in other schools, please follow their process.

Lindbergh Speaker Series: "Navigating Infinite Campus"

6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 30

Our first Speaker Series of the school year is designed to help families navigate Lindbergh’s new Student Information System, Infinite Campus. Learn how to use the most common features on your desktop computer or mobile device, and find answers to your questions from Lindbergh staff.

New Badge System Supports School Safety

Beginning this year, Lindbergh Schools is using the CrisisAlert School Safety Solution by Centegix to empower staff and keep students safe during the school day.

Here’s how it works: All employees wear a badge with a one-button system that can be used to call for help in the event of day-to-day emergencies. In the event of a school intruder, it goes one step further and allows any staff member to activate a lockdown response schoolwide. The system determines the location of the alert, down to an individual room and floor, so first responders and administrators know exactly where help is needed.

Learn more: Dr. Lake recently explained the technology to KMOV reporter Caroline Hecker. You can watch that interview at timestamp 2:13 by clicking the link below, or read more on our district website.

Make Sure You’re Receiving Our Text Messages

From time to time, our school and the Lindbergh district use SMS messaging to share information and updates with families. These messages will always come from one of two short codes, including 54968 and 60680. Families must have a current mobile phone number on file in the Infinite Campus portal in order to receive text messages from Lindbergh Schools.
