What happened and what's happening!
CPR Training, Grandparents Day, & a Tornado Drill! Whew!
For a short week, it sure was a busy one. We got back to work after Labor Day, and hit the learning at a deep level. Our students in science classes made moon videos, in English class worked on context clues, in math word problems requiring students to remember details like how many days in a month, and also worked on salt dissolving labs among other great learning experiences!

Research groups in early childhood classrooms
In the less than 3 minute video above, she mentions research groups. What do you think the other groups are doing while she is working with this group? Can you incorporate something like this in your classroom?

I Choose (Less than 5 minute video)
I love the choice in this video, but I also love the 5th graders / 1st graders connection. Additionally, the Smartboard is used as more than a whiteboard. Lastly, there is celebration! Did you like anything specific in this video?
