  • Egypt is known for it's river, Nile River, which flows northward and is the main vital source for Egyptians. It deposits soil, which helps lead to fertile farmland.
  • Egypt also has the Suez Canal, which is another good source of water

  • Egypt created the first national government
  • also created the early forms of math and writing
  • spoke semitic languages of Asia and some languages of northern africa
  • bedouins move across desserts with camels, goats, and sheep
  • fellahin tend to animals and farm on small areas of land
