SIS/SMS BULLETIN

MAY 13, 2022

Happy Friday,

I hope this newsletter finds you all happy and healthy. I was assured by the weatherman last night on the news that warmer weather was on the way. The only issue is that he stated it would be warm and wet!!! At some point, the weather has to get better and we get to see a glimpse of spring 2022. On a positive note, the weather has been extremely helpful with our state testing schedule.

As we are approaching the final five weeks of school, lots of activities are on the horizon. We have some field trips, outdoor school spirit week and of course eighth grade promotion and our field day. I’m looking forward to the end of the year as are the students. However, there are many end of year items that need to be checked off in order for us to successfully get to June 14, 2022.

Also, the eighth graders have some fun activities in their future. Your eighth grade students have been notified and are aware of the expectations in order to participate.

I look forward to seeing each and every one of you as the end of year approaches. Please remember that there are still protocols in place for volunteering. I look forward to a day when we can bring back our grandparents lunch, parent classroom volunteers and our assemblies without restrictions.

Have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to seeing each and every one of you this spring.
