Students lead activities during Red Ribbon Week
Each year we celebrate Red Ribbon Week with activities to encourage positive relationships and a drug-free lifestyle. This year both of those ideas were communicated with humor and sincerity by Mike Donahue, a speaker with R5 Productions. Students were totally engaged in his exciting presentation.
All of the Red Ribbon Week activities were student-led. Our FCCLA Chapter and the Character Council planned spirit days, a social media campaign, and more. It was a fun week with a positive theme.
Our Character Council is a leadership group that is committed to building positive community at BHS. The group was invited to attend a St. Louis Rams game, where they met players and networked with student leaders from other CharacterPLUS schools.
