Superintendent's Message
Good afternoon, ACS Raider Families!
Wow...it is FEBRUARY! Can you believe it?! As we find ourselves in the midst of another bustling school year, it's crucial to reflect upon this past school year and recognize our students' growth and achievements. There is so much to celebrate within our school community- see pictures below. The dedication of our staff, the resilience of our students, and the continued support of our families have been the pillars of our success. Let's never lose sight of that! As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please email me at kvonhiltmayer@almontschools.org or you may contact me at 810-798-8561.

ACS Safety Committee- Update
The ACS Safety Committee met on Monday, February 5th. Thank you to Officer Manning and the parents/community members/staff for their participation. It is clear that safety remains as the FIRST PRIORITY for our ACS students and staff! With that being said, the district has committed to purchasing Nightlock door barricades for every door in each school building. Thank you to Jason Frederick (ACS Maintenance Director) for all of his efforts and time to coordinate this next safety project.
The next ACS Safety Committee Meeting is scheduled for May 8, 2024 at 6:30 PM in the AHS Media Center.
