Food Drive - Thank You!
THANK YOU to all who participated in our holiday food drive! We were able to collect enough food to create 57 food baskets!! AMAZING :) For Thanksgiving, we provided close to 30 food baskets to our NSE families; each with a turkey. For the Winter Break Holiday season, we hope to offer another 30 baskets each with a ham/turkey.
Your generosity has helped so many families in our community and our students were able to take part first-hand to help lead, organize, and carry out this much-needed service project. It's a win-win!
Congratulations to our Students!

Winter Gear
As a reminder with colder temperatures, it is very important that students are dressed appropriately while waiting at the bus stop and for recess. On days when the temperature reaches 0 degrees (windchill temperatures are used) or below, students will stay inside for recess. This is also true if there is heavy (soaking) precipitation (rain, snow, etc.)
Please plan to have your child prepared with a pair of winter boots, snow pants, winter coat, gloves, and a hat. If you need assistance with these items, please let your child’s teacher know. We want all of our students to be dressed appropriately warm for the winter weather.

Student Information System - Parent Vue
The ParentVue portal is an important part of our Student Information System. In this portal parents can view their child’s attendance, transportation information, academic progress, and update important student information like phone numbers, emergency contacts, etc. As we continue to work toward paperless communications, please plan to use ParentVue regularly.
It is important that you take the time to set up and activate your account if you have not already done so. You will need an activation key to do this. Here’s how:
1. Email SynergySupport@clarkston.k12.mi.us to request an activation key. Provide the following information in your email:
Your Name
Your Student(s) Name
Your Student(s) Date Of Birth
Your Home Address
Your Phone Number
Also, please make sure to take some time to review the information in ParentVue and make sure that we have the most accurate and updated information, particularly phone numbers and emergency contacts. To access ParentVue (once you have activated your account):
Go to the Clarkston Schools’ webpage www.clarkston.k12.mi.us
Choose the Resources tab and then select ParentVue
