Open Your Eyes, Be Energy Wise!

We started our Friday morning off right with a super fun performance from the actors at MyEnergyKit - a program produced by The National Theatre for Children to bring awareness to green living and saving energy.

Our students were able to watch and participate as "Nikki Neutron" worked to defeat "The Sneaker", an evil villain who was wasting energy and natural resources.

The MyEnergyKit organization offers free energy-saving kits to families of K-12 students. Schools with the most participants can earn cash for their classrooms!

Here's how to request your kit:

1. Go to myenergykit.org and click "request a kit"

2. If you are a Duke Energy customer, you will need your account number! This can be found at the bottom of your energy bill or on your My Account page of duke-energy.com

3. Enter your student's classroom code (below) as well as your personal information.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED -

What: All-staff meeting

Who: We are looking for parent volunteers to cover childcare while our staff members attend a staff meeting. It is important for all staff members to meet to receive important information from administration and assure that the school is functioning as a team.
