Principal Corner
High School Team,
Thinking about all the things that come at us everyday, we must stay grounded in our why. Your why may be different than my why but our collective why is grounded in our students. As we return to our classes and desks and as we make decisions, let's ensure that every action and choice revolves around the well-being and success of our students.

Volunteer opportunity: The Boston Prep enrollment lottery for grades 6-10 is on Wednesday, March 6, 2023. We will be holding a phone-banking event on Wednesday and Thursday, March 6 and 7th afterschool (4-6pm) at the school to make offers to our new families to drive yield for next school year. Get to know future Boston Prep families to welcome them to our school! We are seeking high yield in the midst of a city-wide student enrollment decline.
📞A phone call script and phone numbers will be provided. Food and refreshments will be provided for those who participate in-person! Starbucks Gift Cards will be given to those who give at least an hour of their time.

“Throughout our history, Black Americans have never given up on the promise of America,” President Joe Biden said during a recent proclamation ceremony. “Unbowed by the forces of hate and undaunted as they fought for centuries against slavery, segregation and injustice, Black Americans have held a mirror up to our nation, allowing our country to confront hard truths about who we are and pushing us to live up to our founding ideals. They have helped redeem the soul of our nation, ensuring the promises in our founding documents were not just words on a page but a lived reality for all people. In the process, the vibrancy of Black history and culture has enriched every aspect of American life.”
Last chance to add to our Black History Month playlist. We have some good songs on this playlist. If you already added a song, you can add another song. I will share the playlist EOD tomorrow.
