On Friday, April 29th, we will have Bruster's Ice cream at lunch. This fundraiser will assist the 5th grade students in their efforts of action for their exhibition project. In order to have ice cream on Friday, the prepayment of $2 must be made by WEDNESDAY, April 27th.
PTSO volunteers WANTED
The Jesse Boyd PTSO is an incredible group of parents, grandparents, and teachers who work together to provide our students with amazing opportunities. Our PTSO has numerous volunteer activities-some big and some very small. We would love to have more parent volunteers to turn to when organizing all the great events. If you're curious about PTSO and would like to volunteer, please email jesseboyd@spart7.org We want you to be a part of this AMAZING group.
Field Day
The Jesse Boyd field day is always an event to look forward to each year. Field day this year is at Spartanburg High School on May 20th. McCracken Middle School has generously provided us, through their YES program, with volunteers for our various stations. This means that parent volunteers are really only necessary for set up and tear down. If you are available to help with this, please contact Coach Brabham at ckbrabham@spart7.org
McCracken Middle School YES program 5K
The same YES program at MMS that will be providing us with volunteers for field day will also be hosting a 5K on May 21st at 9am. We would love for this great project to have many runners to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. You can find the registration form below or contact Holly Lawson at MMS via email at hwlawson@spart7.org
Little Shakers
Is your student interested in preforming in the Spartanburg School District 7's production of All Shook Up? Any interested student in grades K-5 should go to the Spartanburg High School chorus room on Friday, April 29th from 4-4:45. For more information please contact Lori Humphries at lshumphries@spart7.org
Lost and Found
The Jesse Boyd Lost and Found has EXPLODED with jackets, coats, sweatshirts, and pullovers. We will be emptying and donating our lost and found very soon. Please ask your child to come search for their lost items as soon as possible.
