Reopening

Hurray, we have a reopening date of March 22, 2021. That is 13 school days away. The plan is for teachers to teach on campus in the morning and online in the afternoon. This will allow students to stay with teacher regardless of whether the return to school or continue with distance learning. The timing has not been finalized but we will send it to you as soon as we know. You will be getting a survey from your child's teacher where you will give us your choice of learning style, in person or online, next week. This needs to be complete for every student so that we can plan appropriately.

Please make sure that you have update all phone numbers with the office incase we need to contact you by phone. We are working on a video to show how school will look when students return. A question and answer virtual meeting, including the school nurse and principal, will be set up next week. Look for a text and email with the link.

Spirit Wear

If you missed out on purchasing Spirit Wear, the online store is open now through March 26. Click the link to order your shirts and sweatshirts now. If you want to purchase with cash, please come to the office and we will take the order for PTO to place for you. Sample shirts in the foyer for you to check for size. Please do not take off hangers. You can hold them in front of your student to check if it will fit.

PTO

Our next PTO meeting will be Thursday, March 4 at 5:00. We will be taking nominations for next year's PTO board as all our current board members terms are up and some are moving on to middle school.
Big picture

Habit 6 - Synergize

This month we will be learning about Habit 6, Synergize. When we synergize, we work together to get things done. More minds are better than one. Our wonderful kindergartners will be presenting the Monday Morning Announcements.

Kudos for Custodians

We will be celebrating our custodians on March 10. Students can send in cards and signs to the office.

ST Math

Just a reminder that our second ST Math Challenge is underway and ends April 9 during spring break. We will have several prizes with a grand prize of a brand new bike. There will be one for grades K-2nd and another for grades 3rd-5th. I will be looking for those who solve the most puzzles.
