Types of Plate Boundaries
By: Lindsey Miller
Divergent boundary
-also known as a constructive boundary or extensional boundary, a Divergent Boundary is a linear feature that is between two plates that move away from one another.
Transform boundary
- two plates slide past on another, they lack the amazing features of the divergent and convergent boundaries.
Convergent boundary
-also known as a destructive plate boundary, the convergent boundary is a deforming region where fragments of the lithosphere move toward each other and collide.
