BLMS Parent Academy "HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT"
Is your teen in trouble? Would you be able to spot clues even if they were hidden in plain sight? Hidden in Plain Sight is an interactive program designed to help attendees spot signs of trouble. The “snoop and search” portion of the program will enable parents to participate in an astonishing, interactive exhibit which is designed to resemble a teenager’s room. The exhibit will feature over 150 items which could indicate risky behaviors.
BLMS is offering a Parent Academy to provide information about the dangers that our students are being exposed to in today’s society. BLMS has seen an increase in discipline leading to suspensions and potential expulsions. This Parent Academy is an opportunity for our parents to access local resources while learning about the exposure and potential dangers of vaping and drugs, which could lead to an addiction or possible loss of life.
This event will take place on Wednesday, February 1 from 6:00-7:30 in the BLMS Commons. It is for Benjamin Logan parents/guardians (ADULTS ONLY). If you have any questions, please contact the BLMS Office at 937-599-2386.
