Unite: This week we will continue learning about families, friends, and pets. Do you have pets in your family? Write your pets name and see if Bingo's name has any of the same letters.

At school it is the teachers job to keep you safe and it is your job to help her keep every one safe. We are going to concentrate on keeping everyone safe this week by using our walking feet. During the walking song practice different movements and really listen to the cues.
Morning Message
Display letter cards Pp and Ii discuss the similarities and difference in the letter shapes ( straight lines, curved lines and combination).
Acknowledge children whose names begin with the target letters.
Hand a student the letter card and as them to locate the letters in the morning message.
Morning Message "Fish swim in a fish pond".
Complete the SeeSaw activity " Letter P hunt"

Reading 9:00-9:45
After listening to the story Pete the Cat A Pet for Pete. Discuss with your child the things that a fish and a dog would need that are different. ( water bowl, food bowl, food, leash,brush)
