Interactive Character Education Program

Appropriate for Grades Pre-K – 3rd



Building student citizenship and soft skills through respect are an important component of any classroom setting. Students will look at gaining and giving respect to each other through interactive literature extensions and hands-on demonstrations. The perfect distance learning event for building friendships in the new school year OR reminding students of the importance of getting along and working out problems. Kindness is CONTAGIOUS!

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Course

Enhance your leadership and facilitation skills with problem solving, analytical tools. Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and lead a team through an improvement project with guidance from an experienced Black Belt instructor.

September 20, 2018 - Disciplinary Literacy in Social Studies and ELA, September 21, 2018 in Science and ELA

Meet Timothy Shanahan, one of the world’s premier literacy educators. He is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chi­cago where he was Founding Di­rector of the UIC Center for Literacy. Tim will share his expertise in adolescent literacy. Participants will learn about the concepts of disciplinary literacy, how it differs from content-area literacy and practices that support student literacy growth within the science and social studies content.

Attention Gifted, Enrichment and After School Staff

CHECK OUT our American Sign Language Enrichment Courses


American Sign Language Enrichment Classes are being offered during or after the school day for elementary, middle or high school students. Classes are delivered through interactive video conference connections, which allow students to see, hear and interact with instructors. Classes can be taken as a singleton or in a series.


Schools choose from a variety of topics. Each class is 40 minutes long and consists of live instruction with supplemental materials. Instructors use a variety of fun and interactive activities to keep students engaged. Times are dependent on the availability of the instructor. We have openings in our fall and spring semester series.

Would you like to dive deeper into OTES as a growth model for teachers?


Attend OTES Next to learn strategies in collecting, sorting and interpreting evidence that supports professional learning for teachers. Learn about the importance of professional conversations and unpack the roles of reflection, feedback, coaching and developing action steps. Examine practices to build educator capacity for individual teachers or teams of teachers.


Day 1 focuses on the use of high quality evidence and artifacts.

Day 2 supports professional conversations, reflections and feedback.

Day 3 examines practices and professional learning community structures that could be used to support growth.


Are you renewing your OTES evaluator credential?

Principals and school administrators who have previously completed their initial OTES evaluator credential by taking the online test can consider the three days of OTES Next and a capstone project as an alternative means of renewing their evaluator credential.

September 26 - 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 8th Grade Connections

Students from several of our member districts will make "connections" while participating in The Great Rupe Goldberg Energy Challenge, Force and Motion Escape Room, Speed Debating and a Resiliency Tournament.

Get Credentialed to Serve as a Mentor in Ohio’s Resident

Educator Program.


Resident Educator Mentor Academy Day 1

Day 1 focuses on the role of the mentor and the critical components of mentoring. Mentors are introduced to the essential content of mentoring to prepare them in supporting the instructional growth and development of Resident Educators.

Resident Educator Mentor Academy Day 2

Day 2 focuses on formative/summative assessment, providing feedback and observations for learning. Mentors apply knowledge and skills learned on Day 1 to design, practice and implement differentiated mentoring to support and accelerate the instructional growth and development of the Resident Educator.
