What is the Wall Street program?

It's a rare opportunity learn about the banking industry through on-site visits and listening to W&M alumni speak first-hand about their experiences. You'll participate in career panel discussions, take part in simulations, perhaps visit a trading floor. More importantly, you'll gain networking connections and meet people in various roles, from an Analyst to a Managing Director to an Executive Vice-President. We have expanded this to a 4-day program, which will take place in New York, NY.

Schedule of Visits

Day 1 Sunday, October 15: Check into hotel

Day 2 Monday, October 16: JP Morgan Chase; Stephens, Inc.; BlackRock

Day 3 Tuesday, Ocotber 17: UBS; BNY Mellon; Goldman Sachs; Deutsche Bank; Dinner provided by Freeman & Co.

Day 4 Wednesday, October 18: Bank of America Merrill Lynch; Morgan Stanley

We also are currently working towards establishing a networking event for Monday Evening (October 16) with several mid-market institutions.

While it is in the middle of the fall semester, it coincides with Fall Break (October 14 - 17), and it's worth the investment of your time and resources. Going in October gives participants a first-hand experience in several quality institutions that are interested in meeting students that will be eligible for full-time employment in May of 2019. If you are selected and decide to attend, make sure to obtain permission from your professor(s) to miss any class(es).
