Insider News: 2017 Wall St Program

October 15 - 18 in New York, NY

The Wall Street Application Process is now OPEN!

First review of applications (priority application deadline) will be August 25!

The application consists of 2 parts:

1) The TribeCareers Application

2) The TribeForm Portion of the Application

Only fully completed applications will be reviewed!

What is the Wall Street program?

It's a rare opportunity learn about the banking industry through on-site visits and listening to W&M alumni speak first-hand about their experiences. You'll participate in career panel discussions, take part in simulations, perhaps visit a trading floor. More importantly, you'll gain networking connections and meet people in various roles, from an Analyst to a Managing Director to an Executive Vice-President. We have expanded this to a 4-day program, which will take place in New York, NY.

Schedule of Visits

Day 1 Sunday, October 15: Check into hotel

Day 2 Monday, October 16: JP Morgan Chase; Stephens, Inc.; BlackRock

Day 3 Tuesday, Ocotber 17: UBS; BNY Mellon; Goldman Sachs; Deutsche Bank; Dinner provided by Freeman & Co.

Day 4 Wednesday, October 18: Bank of America Merrill Lynch; Morgan Stanley

We also are currently working towards establishing a networking event for Monday Evening (October 16) with several mid-market institutions.

Why in October?

The 4-day program will take place on October 15 - 18. While it is in the middle of the fall semester, it coincides with Fall Break (October 14 - 17), and it's worth the investment of your time and resources. Going in October gives participants a first-hand experience in several quality institutions that are interested in meeting students that will be eligible for full-time employment in May of 2019. If you are selected and decide to attend, make sure to obtain permission from your professor(s) to miss any class(es).

Who can apply?

Juniors who intend to earn a Bachelor's degree and graduate in January or May of 2019. All applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, and ALL MAJORS are invited to submit an application.

When can I start applying?

Applications will officially be available on August 4th, with a priority deadline of August 25th.
