Who likes a good story?
Well before written languages, stories were communicated by word of mouth. This form of communication was important to earlier humans because of human's emotional importance on their context in relation to the past.
Need mom to pick up some groceries?
Send her a smoke signal! One of the earliest forms of communications was smoke signaling. The signals were used to communicate over long distances.
Give me a ring buddy!
The telephone has revolutionized communication. Now people can talk easily communicate across oceans, deserts, and mountains.
E-mail, for a large part, replaced "snail" mail. Instead of sending people letters, you can simply shoot them an email and... BOOM your message is received!
