Congratulations to Mrs. Sheila Tietgen, one of our 8th Grade teachers for being selected as the Pella Corp. School Staff Member of the Month for March! THANK YOU GRANDPARENTS AND SPECIAL FRIENDS!
It was Grandparents and Special Friends Day at SCCS last week, so our hallways and classrooms were filled with some of the most wonderful, loving, and influential people in our students' lives! It was heartwarming to see everyone learning together with joy and curiosity! Kids love to share what they are learning... and grandparents are really great at being in awe of what these young ones are studying!
Thanks, Grandparents and Special Friends - whether you could be here in person or not - for faithfully showing God's love to His treasured children through YOUR love and attention!

FOLK SONG CELEBRATION
2nd, 3rd and 4th graders had an exciting day last week because they invited their parents, grandparents, or special friends to a Folk Song Celebration! Students led everyone in singing traditional folk songs and dances they have been learning in music class. A fun way to experience how God has worked through music to bring people together over the generations!
Smiles and laughter filled our gym... and a little sweat could be seen on the brows of the visitors as they left!
