From the Nest
Mr. Anderson - Language Arts
Ms. Bosse - Math
Tuesday is the SOL. On Monday we'll be reviewing the Customary and Metric measurement systems. Students should spend some time over the weekend looking through their Interactive Notebooks as well as spending some time on iXL. I know all students will give it their all! We will be doing projects in Regular 6 following the SOL, and in 6 Extended we will be learning the 7th grade standards that we had to move aside because of the snow days!
Mr. Cardone - Social Studies
Mr. Cardone - Science
Outside of the Social Studies test, next week will be all about Science, specifically weather. Students will be learning about the following topics: Earth’s energy budget and the distribution of thermal energy, cloud formation, and basic weather information. There will be a couple of quizzes next week so check school fusion and your children’s agenda for further information. Test corrections for the Watershed test are also due on Wednesday 3/18.
