Help Needed!
Adults, please help us locate books that were checked out during material pick-ups but have not been returned. We have many, many books still outstanding and we need them back as soon as possible. Please help students look in closets, cars, under beds, and in bookcases. All Meadow View library books have a barcode on the back and a spine label. There will also be a stamp on the inside. We would really appreciate any help you can provide finding our missing books.
A bin will be left out at the front of the school for book collection until March 16th. Please drop them off in the bin. Thank you for your help!
Ms. Walters & Mrs. Brockman

YEARBOOK PICTURE REQUEST!
Although we were apart for a lot of the school year, it certainly didn’t mean that the learning stopped. We really need your help filling the pages with images and memories of what student life looked like this year.
We welcome all pictures, but in case you need some inspiration, here are some ideas we’ve come up with:
First day of school in September
Zoom school workspaces
Students with their pets
First day of in-person school
Materials pick-up days
Mask Fashion! - Your child in their favorite mask
Specials (music, art, PE) at home
We greatly appreciate all your help to make our yearbook special this year!
Please email pictures to akrauls@sunprairieschools.org. Label each picture with your child’s teacher’s last name and include a brief description of what it is. We need pictures by Friday, March 26th.
Here is the link to order your yearbook: https://ybpay.lifetouch.com/Order/SelectJob...
Our yearbook id is 13695621

Box of Balloons
This year we have the opportunity to partner with Box of Balloons. This is a nonprofit organization that is now nationwide, but started at Westside Elementary in Sun Prairie! The goal of this program is to help provide a birthday box to students that may not otherwise have a birthday party. The boxes will be themed, include items for 6 children for a party, including a gift for the child, as well as decorations. It is a party in a box! Please let me know if you think your child would benefit from this program. Please let me know and I will take care of meeting with the student and coordinating the birthday box. Please call/text me at 608-909-1454 or email me at kjeyers@sunprairieschools.org
Virtual Calm Room
Be sure to check out the virtual calm room that staff have completed for anyone to use. There are many tools on there to calm, from breathing tips to mindfulness, to coloring pages. Take a look! https://sites.google.com/sunprairieschools.org/distance-learning-calm-room
Otter Connection
Be sure to check with your Otter that they have seen the weekly Otter Connection with Mrs. Eyers, Mrs. Leon, Ms. Pavela, and Ms. Smits! Also, if any of our Otters want to create their own Otter Connection, we can help feature part of it in the weekly Otter Connection!

PBIS
Our PBIS meetings continue to meet and plan for students. Our family night was a success and we enjoyed seeing so many of our families via Zoom. Please watch the announcements in class, or on Seesaw for a fun activity that will be coming soon that can involve the whole family, called “A Piece of Me”.
