Do you need food at home for the weekend? Weekend food bags are back! Please see Mrs. Bunch or Mrs. Cushway in the counseling center before school, after school, or during your lunchtime for details.
Attention wildcats! Students are not permitted to park in parking lot in front of the school, that is staff parking only. staff parking is also located in front of wildcat way. Students who park anywhere other than student parking will receive a ticket.
Announcing a School Day SAT, Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Sign up in the cashiers offfice with Mrs. White. Payment is $52. Students eligible for Free or Reduced lunch can see Mrs. Kellison for a fee waiver.
Hey Wildcats! Oak Harbor High’s TOLO will be coming up soon! The dance will be taking place on March 26th, 2022 from 8pm to 11pm. Tickets are being sold for $10 at both lunches from the 21st to the 25th. Tickets will be sold at the door for $15. This year’s TOLO theme will be City Nights, so grab your friends for a fun night at Oak Harbor’s TOLO party!
Hear ye, Hear ye! Let it be known to all Wildcats: When Fridays are upon us and the hours of school have ended, a club awaits all lads and lasses who verily love to write. The Young Authors do heartily invite thee, and await thy presence when next we gather in the Library.
Opportunity for a student with the City Parks Department. We are looking for a student representative on the Windjammer Park Improvement Focus Group. It's 2-4 months beginning next week if available. We are looking for a student of any age that has access to transportation and an interest in city parks. See Mrs. Kellison for details.
Dracula may be gone, but Drama Club is still going strong. March is Theatre in Our Schools month. Want to be the first to know about the next performance? Come to Drama Club. We meet every Thursday from 2:40-3:40 in A204. Become one of us!
Free Lap Swim is available to all students who wish to continue to train/condition in the water from 3:15pm-5pm Monday- Thursday. Due a 25 person limit for the pool, it will be on a first come first serve basis.
Dress Rehearsal for the Multicultural Assembly will be after school on Thursday, March 17. We will meet in the gym at 2:45.
Sophomore Leadership Opportunity: OHHS will be selecting a student ambassador to represent OHHS at the Hugh O'Brien Leadership Seminar in June 2022. This is an excellent opportunity for the student chosen to represent Oak Harbor High School and can be used as a recognition highlight on future college and scholarship applications.The seminar will be held June 16th - 19th at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. If you are interested, submit an essay of 500 words or less describing the most rewarding and challenging aspects of being a leader in your school and community. Use the google form link to submit your essay. Submit Essay Here by March 22, 2022. Look in your student email for a link to submit. Anime Club is meeting Tuesday, March 22nd at 230PM until 430PM in Ms. Webb's room, A191. Please make sure you have transportation to be able to stay until 430PM. We will be watching Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind with a runtime of 2 hours. Any questions please email Mr. Keck
