Guided Reading

Parents- Please make sure that you are signing your child's reading log EACH night! They get incentives for reading to their families and the proof is in the signature!

Students will be sent home with a "ten-finger planner" for the weekend to complete. They will need your help/guidance on this. I am sending a letter attached to the homework, so you can understand the object of it. We are beginning Writer's Workshop next week and will be starting to publish books. It should be fun!

Scholastic Book Orders

There will be two more book orders sent home before the holiday season. Adding to your child's book collection at home is a great way to support reading! Please consider purchasing books for your children because the more books we purchase as a class the more free books get sent to our classroom library! Books would make great holiday stocking stuffers or gifts too!

Ms. Maher's Wish list!

Thank you to all the families who have graciously donated to our classroom. Your contributions are helping our learning each and every day!
