Slaybaugh School Complex

Student Achievement
This week Ms Katie’s Class is investigating ‘How is a pumpkin like a ball?’ We brought the pumpkins into our Discovery Science, Block, Math, Writing, Sand and Water centers. We took them down the Primary ramp and out to the playground to see if they roll, bounce and can be weighed on the teeter- totter. We answered the questions…. Do they float? Do they carry? Do they roll? Do they bounce?
Ms. Sansom's 3rd grade class was performing a Reader's Theater of Last Day Blues as an enrichment activity for the Interactive Read Aloud that they did in class on the book by author Julie Danneberg.
Slaybaugh School would like to send a HUGE congratulations to Lilly in Mrs. Huba’s 2nd grade class for winning the Press of Atlantic City’s Halloween writing contest. Also, Baylie’s,from Mrs. Huba’s class, art work was also chosen to be published in the online flip book.
