What is it?
In pairs, students alternate generating oral responses.
1. Teacher poses a problem to which there are multiple possible responses or solutions.
2. In pairs, students take turns stating responses or solutions orally.
Examples of classroom use: Name adjectives to describe a setting, qualities/characteristics to describe a character in a story.
What does it look like non digital?
Students pair up and orally take turns responding with solutions.
What does it look like in a digital classroom?
Students get a link to an answer garden and respond at once. Repeated answers get larger and less popular answers are smaller. Students could then pair up and discuss the large, popular answers and why they seemed to be the most popular.
