Dr. Mark Ebell (Epid & Biostat) Survey Request
I am the US lead investigator for a multinational project sponsored by the University of Geneva and Southampton University. We’re hoping to recruit members of the public (including folks like you! You count!) to take part in a large-scale survey on the preventive behaviors people are taking to avoid catching COVID-19, treatments, and the long-term effect of those that have suffered from COVID-19 during the pandemic. The study has been approved by the UGA IRB. It is open to all, whether or not you have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
To participate please click on this link: https://www.rtocovid19.com/ The site lists the collaborating universities, and you can just click on the box that says “United States of America” to complete the brief informed consent and get the US version of the survey. It takes 15 to 20 minutes on average to complete. Our goal is to get at least 3000 US participants, and at least 20,000 worldwide in order to do our analyses.
To make our findings as meaningful as possible, we are hoping to get a broad range of participants from across the US and around the world. Please share information about this study and the link on social media. The main thing is to let folks know that we are interested in a broad range of participants with and without a diagnosis of COVID-19, and to provide the link.
