Adding an Email Signature

If you are using your iPad to compose or answer email, you should set up an email signature. Otherwise you emails will be signed "sent from my ipad"

To set up your signature:


  1. go to settings
  2. choose Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  3. on the right, where it says "signature" type what you want to use as you Signature

Now that you have an iPad, do you need a scanner?

I use my device as my scanner. All iPad Mini's, most iPhones, and iPads have cameras that can be used as a scanner. I use the iPad App Genius Scan (usually costs 2.99, but is sometimes free) or Fast Scanner (free) to scan documents. After scanning the documents they can be emailed, and then saved to your computer or device. There is no longer a need to find a desktop scanner, you have one at your finger tips.
