IB Update
This last week in IB, the leadership teams from Roxborough Primary, Roxborough Intermediate, Ranch View Middle and ThunderRidge High Schools met to talk about our IB connections and feeder system. There are some exciting things on the horizon and all parties discussed better ways to bring our schools and students together. Stay tunded for more specific details on all the great things our feeder will be up to. We also spent this week talking to our sophomore students on all the things they will need to know and do as they look to enter the IB Diploma Programme next year.
After break there are a number of great things happening ranging from Trick or Treat Street to the Choir Feeder Concert to the Academic Showcase. Remember that if you want to learn more about the IB offerings at TRHS we would love to see you at Academic Showcase on October 27th.
This week in Advisement...
β¨Freshmen
π Sophomores
Sophomores used Advisement today as an opportunity to continue researching their Personal Project goal/topic. This allowed the students to obtain additional resources to help support their ability to reach their goal by the end of March. The students are required to fill out a guided research document in their Personal Project booklet.
Students also continued to meet with their Advisement teacher to receive their first grade of the project.
