CCSD Parent Survey NOW OPEN!
Questions asked in the survey align with District goals, focus areas and strategic imperatives that will be used to help make improvements to schools and increase parent/guardian engagement.
There are several questions on the survey that are school-specific; therefore parents/guardians must enter their child’s student ID number and birth date or the name of the school when completing the survey at ccsd.net/survey. Entering student information ensures that each school is receiving specific responses from parents/guardians to gauge its school climate. Responses to the surveys cannot be linked to any particular student, parent/guardian or staff member. Survey results will only be shared in the aggregate.
The survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete and is accessible on tablets and smartphones. Every parent/guardian is invited to take a survey for each child enrolled in a CCSD school.
The survey is available online until 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at ccsd.net/survey. The 5-minute survey, available in English and Spanish, is confidential and part of the District’s efforts to engage the community on important issues facing students and their families.
The November SOT meeting will be held Wednesday, November 17th at 3:30 pm in the library.

To give thanks to a very important person in our Staton students' lives Staton PTO and staff are hosting a VIP Breakfast over 2 days. Check the flyer for the day to come based on your student's last name. This can be a fun opportunity to invite someone new (neighbor, older sibling, grandparent, etc.) as your student's VIP. The student and VIP will be treated to a red carpet themed breakfast and time together with paparazzi and all! This is a new event at Staton and replaces Donuts with Dudes and Muffins for Moms, we are so excited about this new tradition!
Be sure to mark your calendars! Friday, December 10th Ugly Sweater Bingo is back. That Friday will be an Ugly Sweater Day at Staton so people can show off their masterpieces in person. That evening will be take and bake pizza dinner, ugly sweater cookie kits, 4 games of bingo, and prizes for bingo winners! Let’s create memories together. We have some awesome teachers who have signed up to host bingo games. They are getting their dad jokes and ugly sweaters ready, you better get yours ready too! We are keeping it virtual so we can accommodate everyone who wants to attend.
