DECEMBER PROJECT: TOYS 4 KIDS TOY DRIVE

What do we need??

NEW, unwrapped toys for kids.

Especially legos, Star Wars, super heroes, Disney, barbies, dolls, arts & crafts sets, action figures, board games, playing cards, or sports equipment!

Our goal is for every student in Central School to bring in one toy!

Anything more is GREATLY appreciated!!

We will be collecting toys from November 30th through December 20th!

Toys will be donated to local families who are in need of some extra special cheer over the holidays.

The homeroom that donates the most toys will be rewarded with a warm winter treat and extra recess time!!!

Please TRY to remember the less fortunate during this holiday season.

Thank you from the Student Council!!

New this FALL!!!

Pajama Day benefiting The Children's Fund at CHOP

On December 22, 2017, the CS Student Council is sponsoring a school-wide PJ Day benefiting The Children's Fund at CHOP. The CS Student Coucil is asking families to donate $1 per child or whatever your family feels comfortable with to wear pajamas to school! All the proceeds will go toward helping the children in need who are receiving care at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Please help our children help other children in need!

Veteran's Thank-Yous and Appreciation!

Throughout the month of November our students will be making thank-yous, pictures, holiday wishes and kind messages of thanks and appreciation for our troops currently serving overseas. This project is supporting Haddonfield's 300 Boodle Brigade! Students will be completing this in school and the CS Student Council will take care of delivering to the Haddonfield organization prior to Wednesday, November 29th!

The background — Each year a mom in town organizes a holiday shipment for the troops, Haddonfield's 300 Boodle Brigade (for US Army soldiers). This year, word is the group of soldiers we’ve been assigned are in the Middle East and have had a very difficult deployment. We are told the kids notes and pictures are just as important as all the other goodies sent in the boxes and truly brighten their holidays.
