Hampden Meadows Media Center Update
What We've Been Learning
Now that we've been in school for about four months it was time to assess our progress in keyboarding. We try to fit in at least one keyboarding lesson per week when we come to library class. Many students were pleased to see that they have improved in both their number of errors and their words per minute.
Students were given a Google Classroom assignment with the weekly keyboarding log so that they can access it anywhere which means they can practice from home or even during a tech block with their class.
Research Process
Students have begun a two-month long unit on the research process. We began the unit by gathering topics. Students took time to brainstorm topics they might want to research independently.
