A note from the Principal

Hi Hunt Club Families,

I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving break! I love the time of year between Thanksgiving and Winter Break. Please make sure you are checking in often as we have a lot going on in the next few weeks.

This year Hunt Club will be collecting toys and books for Toys For Tots. We are accepting new, unwrapped, books or toys November 29th through December 3rd. Please have your child bring them to school or drop donations off in the vestibule. You may also donate online at this link: DONATE HERE.

IT'S GETTING COLDER OUTSIDE! Please remember to send your child in weather appropriate clothes, which includes coats, hats, and mittens, as we will be continuing to go outside for recess. Label everything, as items often get dropped or lost and we would like to reconnect each item with it's rightful owner. We will continue to go outside as long as possible and want the kids to be comfortable outside.

New lunch menus were uploaded below, we are waiting for the Spanish version and will add those as soon as possible, I'm sorry. Also, please note that the menus are subject to change without notice as national manufacturing shortages continue to impact the food supply.

Important upcoming dates:

November 29th-December 3rd: Toy Drive

December 14th-Home and School Meeting at 7:00 ONLINE

December 23-January 7th: NO SCHOOL-WINTER BREAK

Snow/Emergency Day Packets

This week your child will come home with Snow/Emergency Day work packets in their take home binder or folder. As we approach the winter season and times of bad weather or emergency the school day will run from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Teachers will be live in their Google meets from: 9-9:30, 11:30-12 and 1:30-2 to support and answer any questions a child might have. Student attendance is required for a snow/emergency day. The second page of each packet will be collected by the classroom teacher when school reopens. The students only need to bring the page back filled out by the parent. They do not need to bring the whole packet back to school .

Please keep it in a safe place at home. We will be using this as our instructional tool for our snow/emergency days. Please know that all elementary schools are following this same procedure.

All 2nd through 5th grade students will be taking the ELA and Math Fastbridge assessment next week (December 6th through 10th). Each teacher has an individual schedule, so please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions about the schedule.

a message from our home and school

Hello Hunt Club Families! We hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving break and enjoyed the time off with your family. We are always so thankful for you and all that you do.

If you need help finding something for your teacher or a staff member for the holidays, we have put together a list of teacher favorites on our website! Gifts are not required but these lists have/will help guide those that choose to use them.

While you're holiday shopping, keep an eye out for things that may be on your teacher's Amazon Wish List! We have that list on our website of lists that have been provided to us by staff members themselves!

Our December meeting will be held on the 14th! 7:00PM and it will be ONLINE. A link will be provided for the meeting as we get closer and will also be shared on Facebook at:

We'll also be having a Panera fundraiser night on the 14th! Go grab your food (don't forget to mention Hunt Club Home & School), come home, and log in to our meeting to discuss upcoming fundraisers and events!

If you have not already done so, be sure to add Hunt Club Home & School Organization to your Amazon Smile account! Amazon will automatically donate a small percentage of your purchases directly to us to be used for future events, educational support for the school, and appreciation items!
