In addition to seeing information for MyStudent, such as grades, attendance, and transportation, families will also be able to access Parent University and the Bullying Reporting online form.
Parents can reset the passwords to their student’s DOE email accounts through the Manage Account page; please note the change in URL from http://mystudent.nyc to http://schoolsaccount.nyc. Families who currently have a NYCSA account will automatically have access to new features in the portal.

have proof of vaccination,(photocopy, NYC App, and/or actual card)

wear a face covering.
Lunch Forms - Fill Them Out... It's Important
You do not need to apply for your child to receive meals. However, we do ask families to complete Family Income Inquiry Form(Open external link), which helps schools receive money for their programs.
Why is it important? The Family Income Inquiry Form is important because it: • Helps our federal, local, and private funding • Helps our dining areas buy better food • Determines eligibility for additional resources and discounts as a school • Determines eligibility for additional resources for students.
Forms were sent home last week and we are asking all parents to fill them out and return them to school whether your child eats school lunch or not.
UPDATE: Parent University
Celebrate Homecoming on Parent University!
Learn and become an advocate! Parent University offers training, coaching, and other resources for families to help you advocate for the educational success of your children. Take courses and modules and even gain certificates of completion.
P-EBT Resources
The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Program (P-EBT) is a Federal program to provide food benefits to children who miss the opportunity to receive school meals due to pandemic-related school closures. These benefits will take the form of funds on electronic benefit transfer (EBT cards) which can be used in the same manner as SNAP (food stamp) cards.
Every single NYC public school student is automatically eligible—regardless of income or immigration status—. No application or registration is required. P-EBT does not affect any other benefits or public charge status. Students in parochial or charter schools may be eligible if their school participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). CEC - Community Education Councils
Community Education Council- CEC
There are 32 Community Education Councils (CEC’s) in New York City, each governing a Community School District that includes public elementary, intermediate, and junior high schools. They replaced the Community School Boards that existed through June 2004.
Community Education Council members are representatives of the parents and community-at-large. They live or work in the community, and send their children to the local schools, and their role is to reflect the needs and wishes of the community regarding the education of its children.
The Councils are responsible for promoting the achievement of educational standards and objectives relating to the instruction of students and must establish a positive working relationship with the community superintendent.
Community Education Council members are consulted on many important matters, and in turn, must consult with parents. Their meetings will be open to the public, and will provide an opportunity for the community to be heard on educational issues.
What are Education Councils?
Education Councils are part of New York City's school governance structure. There is a Community Education Council (CEC) for every community school district. There are also four Citywide Councils:
- Citywide Council on High Schools (CCHS)
- Citywide Council on Special Education (CCSE)
- Citywide Council on English Language Learners (CCELL)
