A Look Back at Last Week...
Last week was quite eventful! On Monday, we were able to get our Math lesson in before heading for home to beat the weather. Students visited the 6th Grade Science Fair on Tuesday, giving them a glimpse at what they will be assigned to do next year. It is a great way to involve families, and explore the Scientific Method. There were a lot of great examples this year! Students also spent a lot of the week working on their projects for Number the Stars, as well as studying their tricky homophone spelling words. We played BINGO to study our spelling words, and even snuck in an art project this week. We also celebrate the 100th day of School on Wednesday. This year is flying by!

Donors Choose Project
LIW Donors Choose project to help get document clips for the monitors in our computer lab. Document clips attach to the monitors and hold papers for the students while they type. This project will actually benefit all of our Elementary students. If you are interested in helping fund this project, or know someone who is, you can check out the link below to learn more about Donors Choose. Thanks!
