Dismissal Safety
- When dismissing your child from school, please have an ID with you.
- If your child's dismissal will be different, please notify office staff AND your child's teacher.
Sweetsir: At Jervey Loop, the vehicle closest to the stop sign is the last one to drop off or pick up a student. The person picking up a student should not encourage their child(ren) to come to their vehicle. Staff waits for vehicles in the line to stop moving before allowing the students to go to them. The direction will come from staff.

Merrimac Library Presents "People of the First Light"
The Merrimac Public Library has an exciting program coming up on Saturday, September 24th at 1PM. Indigneous performer Annawon Weeden will present “People of the First Light '' a program that draws on his Mashpee Wampanoag, Narragansett, and Pequot lineage to share his tribal culture and history.
Families will have the opportunity to see the construction of a shelter, listen to some traditional storytelling, play a game, and make a cornhusk action figure. The audience will also have opportunities to ask questions about the Wampanoag tribe.
This program is being hosted by The Friends of the Merrimac Library (FMPL) and is sponsored by one of their members, Joy Kimball.
