Family Field Trip to The Children's Museum! (11/17)
WBE will be taking a Family Field trip to the Children's Museum Houston on Thursday, November 17th! We will load up the school buses at WBE and head to the museum to have some fun as a family! Everyone is welcome, and it is FREE! Please keep in mind that this is a Family Field Trip, so all children must be supervised by an adult to participate. No students are allowed to be dropped off. The buses will be leaving at 6:00 pm, and we will return to the school by 8:00 pm. We need to a head count, so we know how many buses to order. Please complete the form below no later than Friday, October 28th!
TEA's Updated Attendance Policy
What this means for you? If you are planning travel during the school year, please make sure that you understand this policy. Not only do these absences impact student learning and campus finances, it increases the chances that your child will be retained and required to attend summer school regardless of the reason.
October Reminders!
Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found is slowly filling up. Now that it is starting to get cooler outside, students need their jackets more than ever! If your child is missing a jacket, lunch kit, or water bottle, please send him/her to the Lost and Found. Parents are also welcome to go the Lost and Found Monday-Friday from 7:15-7:45 am after checking in with the Front Office.
Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS Approved)
We have a lot field trips and events scheduled in the month of October. In order to volunteer, participate in school events on campus, and/or attend field trips, parents/guardians must be VIPS approved. Please click on the link below to get started. Now is the time to get approved! Please do not wait until the last minute!
