William Randolph Hearst

William Randolph Hearst is best known for publishing the largest chain of American newspapers in the late 19th century, and particularly for sensational "yellow journalism".


Former idol, now competition is Joseph Pulitzer.

Priced his paper at 1 cent each and Pulitzer matched that price to stay competitive.


Born- April 29th, 1863

Died- August 14th, 1951


He visited Adolf Hitler in 1934 interviewing him, helping him legitimize Hitlerʻs leadership in Germany.
