Meet Mrs. Lisa Vines

Every week we shine a spotlight on one of our amazing staff members. This week we will meet Mrs. Vines.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

This is always a hard question for me because if you know anything at all about me, I LOVE to travel. I would return to Italy again and again. I have my family there. However, I have never been to New Zealand. My husband lived there for two years, and it is a dream of ours to go there together.

What is the best thing about working at Hometown?

People, people, people!! The families here at Hometown have been wonderful, and the students are amazing. The staff is fantastic, and everyone here treats each other like family. It is absolutely a huge reason why I am still here after 27 years!

What is your favorite food?

I love anything Mexican or Italian, but my absolute favorite is seafood. I love all kinds of seafood. My favorite would be lobster!

Who is someone you admire and why?

I would have to say that I admire my children. I am beyond impressed with the people they are becoming. In today's world, children have so many challenges and temptations and difficulties that I did not have to face as a child. I think they have worked very hard to make good decisions, and I admire that. It is so fun to watch them grow!

If you see Mrs Vines in the hallway, make sure you say hi!
