The choir leadership council has also been meeting this school year to develop leadership within the program. The choir leadership council is in its second year and continues to serve and support the students. The Choir has worked to build connections and relationships amongst the choir classes, as well as, reached out to feeder school programs and other FHHS classes/programs. They plan to continue this work and expand upon it. CLC mission statement that drives their work is "To inspire excellence in choral music through teamwork, service, and opportunity" Click here to view a video: Choir Community
Ahead this spring for the talented Howell Choirs is the Spring Break 2020 trip to New York that will take our singers to Carnegie Hall for a Festival Honor Choir experience. The choir was selected through audition to participate in this top notch ensemble. They will combine with other high school singers from across the country in a culminating honor choir performance on the prestigious stage of Carnegie Hall where artists such as The Beatles, Benny Goodman, Judy Garland, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin and so many more have stood.

Her dad asked everyone through social media to do something for 40 minutes every day for 6 weeks as well to motivate Olivia and the family during the difficult time and so many people rose to the occasion!
