Notes from the Principal
Dear MacArthur Families,
Teachers will be communicating with students and families through our BUZZ Learning Management System prior to the Instructional Days (March 30 - April 9) during the closure. I hope our entire MacArthur Family remains safe and healthy during this time.
I would also like to thank everyone that came to our PTO Fun Fair! Thank you to our PTO Board for organizing an amazing event.
A huge thanks to our community for all the great donations. It was amazing the out pouring of support.
This newsletter is filled with all the fun from the day. Enjoy!

News from Our School Counselor
Parents,
There are 9 minutes during the day that have the greatest impact on a child:
- The first 3 minutes right after they wake up
- The 3 minutes after they come home from school
- The last 3 minutes of the day before they go to bed
Make those minutes count and special. Each day children need meaningful eye-to-eye conversations with a loved one- this helps foster positive feelings, relationships, and self-esteem. So, instead of pulling the covers off and rushing, you could sit and start breakfast together Maybe when your child gets home from school, instead of running to the TV or homework, walk to get the mail together. Find a way that works with you to spend these 9 tiny minutes together!
