8th Grade - Mr. Miller AP:
The 8th Grade students are rising to the high expectations we have for them. The 1st lunch shift earned a free seat Friday at lunch and I was proud to see that the students appreciated the incentive. It was a calm peaceful enjoyable time for the students and the adults. This reminded me that we need to make sure we have high expectations are not "just good enough". Our students will rise to the expectations we expect.
- A shout out to Ms. Knowles for volunteering to take over the MC duties at our AM community time. The students really do like the silly jokes I love to hear them laugh in the morning what a great way to start the day!!!!
- A huge thanks to Ms. Seals and Ms. Knowles and Mr. Penner for taking on the task of helping students with their schedules for next year. Students have chosen their SLC and will choose their electives classes for next year in their social studies classes. Thank you again Ms. Seals and Ms. Knowles for accomplishing this task on schedule while continuing to teach your daily lessons.
- Make sure that we are keeping up with the tardy google form.
- Lets continue to be good teammates/ colleagues for each other. Help each other, lift each other up and support each other.
- Lets focus on winning the small things like:
o Winning waking students in line.
o Winning the battle of limiting passes and keeping more students in your class.
o Winning the battle of keeping students inside your classroom at the end of the day.
o Winning the battle of being positive every day.
- Thought for the Week:
· "Success is built on doing the little things at a high level every day"
- "It may not be your fault but it is always your responsibility to overcome and be successful and if you are successful our students are successful"
