Recent Events
Trunk or Treat
Trunk or Treat was a monster smashing success! We had 19 trunks decorated and ready for trick or treaters and nearly 400 kiddos costumed and ready for treats!
There were cars bursting with decorations and goodies, tables covered with coloring activities, hot apple cider on tap, firetrucks to climb in, a pumpkin patch to explore, prizes for favorite trunks, and hundreds of fun characters to meet and play with!
The Spring Ridge Elementary community really knows how to costume party! Thanks to each and every one of you who came out and made this such a fun event for all.
A big thank you to the Trunk or Treat event committee, run by Danielle Byrd with Robert Huenger. Not only was it a terrific event, this was the very first Trunk or Treat event at Spring Ridge Elementary School in recent memory!
We’d also like to thank the school and staff, especially the custodial department, for donating their time, space, and resources to help make this event a success!
The PTA would like to extend our gratitude and special thanks to the event’s generous sponsors:
Gaver Farm - for providing pumpkins and straw bales for the pumpkin patch.
Weis Markets - for the tasty apple cider.

The Spring Ridge Fire Station - for providing fire truck tours and goodies… (and it was reassuring to have them there in case any demons or fire-breathing dragons on the premises had any issues with runaway flames.)
Prizes generously donated by:
J&P Pizza - $25 gift card

The Derby - $25 gift card
Lili’s Beauty Stop - Gift certificate for choice of kid's service (up to $32 value)

International Night
International Night was an amazing and educational evening! Around a 100 people came through, learned about diverse countries and cultures from around the world, colored in maps for each country they "visited" that night, and received prizes when turning in their maps.
We had more countries presented this year than prior, thanks to the efforts of our excellent presenters: Jessie Gustaitis, A Ling, Sameeha Bricklemyer, Lori MacNett, Ana Pinzon, Sheidy Maldonado, Sophia Faulkner Boltz, Kristy Poker, Chelsea Rockwell.
The PTA thanks all of them for their time, delicious food and information about other cultures. This event couldn't have happened without all of you!
And a huge thank you to Hillary Fallow and Nora George for presenting countries, recruiting families, setup, figuring out logistics and making the night happen!
