1st Trimester
♥Nervous system has begun to form
♥Heart begins to form along with other organs
♥Arm and leg buds begin to develop
Mother:
♥Missed period
♥Tender, swollen breasts
♥Cravings
2nd Trimester
♥Begins to move and kick
♥Can hear and swallow
♥Eyebrows, eyelashes, fingernails, and toenails have formed
Mother:
♥Swelling of the ankles, fingers, and face
♥Back, abdomen, groin, or thigh aches and pains
♥Stretch marks on your abdomen, breasts, thighs, or butt
3rd Trimester
♥Eyes can open and close
♥Bones are soft but fully formed
♥Organs are capable of functioning on their own
Mother:
♥Tender breasts, which may leak a watery pre-milk called colostrum
♥The cervix becomes thinner and softer in a process called effacing
♥Contractions, which can be a sign of real or false labor
