Students are learning proper keyboarding technique. Each student has their own account online through Typing Club to complete typing lessons. https://mcpasd.typingclub.com/
Art
Why do people make art? Why is art important? How does art affect your mood? How do artists use balance? What is process vs. product? (Express Yourself! Self Portraits, Sand Mandalas)
PE
We are finishing up fitness testing and staring our soccer unit. Students will practice dribbling, kicking, and passing with partners and play modified soccer games to enhance their skills. Towards the end of the month we will transition to throwing and catching games/football.
Guidance
We are continuing to learn about Kelso’s Choices. This month we are focusing on what to do when we have a small problem. We will also begin to identify others’ feelings and understand other’s perspectives.
