Excellence in Education Honorees
Being among the top 5 percent of academic achievers in Loudoun County Public Schools’ senior class is an accomplishment worth celebrating. In lieu of the Loudoun Education Foundation’s annual Excellence in Education Banquet, LCPS is celebrating the members of the Class of 2021 who achieved this distinction.
The Stone Bridge seniors were to have been honored at the 38th Annual Excellence in Education Banquet on December 6. LCPS and the Loudoun Education Foundation want to make sure the community recognizes these students’ academic accomplishments.
Congratulations Bulldogs! Please review our slideshow to honor our graduates!

AP Exam Review Sessions
NOVA Summer Jumpstart, 2021
It is with great pleasure that NOVA announces the launch of JumpStart 2021. LCPS Seniors graduating this spring may take up to 2 NOVA Online classes for free this summer session, with classes starting June 1. NOVA is offering a 10 week session and 10 course options; registration runs through April 30th. Please review this flyer and direct all questions to jumpstart@nvcc.edu. Note that this program is administered through NOVA and any grades earned will be on a NOVA transcript, not an LCPS one.
Name Pronunciation
We have a new system in ParentVUE to allow parents to record the proper pronunciation of their child's name. This recording will be available to teachers, counselors, school administrators, and school support staff. To get started, view the step by step instructions or watch the video on this page.
Senior Capstone
Seniors, Stone Bridge is hosting Capstone again this year. Things will look a little different with Covid, but we encourage you to start planning ahead to find a placement for community service or work experience. The dates are May 17th to June 4th. Check your LCPS email for the full details.
Simply Mindful Group
As we start the new semester are you interested in learning ways to calm your mind and relax? We invite you to join Simply Mindful, a gathering of students and SBHS staff who meet Wednesday mornings from 8:45-9:05 for quiet mindful practices. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Lichtman, School Psychologist, at Theresa.Lichtman@lcps.org or Ms. Zappalla, School Social Worker, at Allyne.Zappalla@lcps.org.
Need Help?
We have a number of resources to help support families in need, including free food, toiletries, and more. If you know of someone who could use extra support during these challenging times, please encourage them to contact our Parent Liaison, Jennifer Jackson. More information about her and the help she can provide is at this link.
