Jim Williams was named the California League of Middle Schools Regional Teacher of the Year! Jim is a 31-year veteran history teacher with 24 of those years being dedicated to Bidwell. His dedication to education has been unwavering as he is still the first to arrive, the last to leave, and spends every lunch time helping students by giving them extra support to ensure academic success. He is highly respected by his colleagues and the administration. and is a beloved teacher. He connects with middle school students both academically and personally. Jim maintains high academic expectations for his students and is unwilling to ‘settle’ for less. In this endeavor, he consistently provides extra support for his students daily during the lunch hour. He welcomes suggestions and even at the end of his career has continued to be a ‘lifelong learner’ fully believing there is always room for improvement.

HEART AND SOLE RETURNS!
STUDENTS:
Please remember the following:
- If you go to a classroom during lunch, you MUST stay there. NO coming and going.
- Please walk quietly do NOT run.
- When in the classroom, follow the rules and DON’T leave a mess.
- The Games room, 105A, will only allow 20 students.
- If you go to a classroom and the door is locked, DO NOT wait at the door. Go back to the common area and do not return to that classroom for that day.
If these issues continue to be a problem, classrooms will no longer be open during lunch. Students, please hold each other accountable, together we make Bidwell Great!
