Yearbook Photo (ID Badge)
ALL (both 9th and 10th graders) student portraits will be taken through Science classes on Thursday, August 17th. Students will receive an order form in their Science classes on picture day, so be on the look out!
Please note: This photo will be used for the yearbook and the mandatory student identification card. All Plano ISD students in grades 6-12 are required to be in compliance with dress code and will not be able to have their picture taken if they are out of dress code. There will be a picture make-up day announced at a later time, and is tentatively set for one day in September.
All Student ID's will be printed on-site at Shepton through our contracted picture company - Legacy Studios. Shepton will be providing the Student ID and a Shepton Lanyard. Students may use a different lanyard (Sports theme, college, etc), but during school hours the badge MUST be worn around the neck on a lanyard and clearly visible for safety and security purposes.
Per PISD school board policy FNCA (LOCAL), “Students in grades 6–12 shall wear an approved student identification (ID) card while on school grounds and while aboard District school buses or other District-provided transportation. Wearing student ID cards may be required at school-sponsored or school-related events as determined by the campus principal. Students may be excused from wearing ID cards during classes where doing so presents a hazard to student safety. While on school grounds, at other District facilities, or at school-sponsored or school-related events, students shall provide access to their ID card to any staff member when requested.”
