Cardboard Creativity Challenge
GT Enrichment Project for 4th Grade GT Students
The Global Cardboard Challenge
In order to kick off the 4th grade GT year with this exciting challenge, we need your help! Keep reading to find out more about this activity, and how we need your help to make it as amazing as we know it can be.
Inspired by the short film, ‘Caine's Arcade’, the Global Cardboard Challenge is an annual event presented by the Imagination Foundation that celebrates child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. This October, kids of all ages are invited to build an arcade game they can dream up using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination.
The Global Cardboard Challenge gives children an opportunity to collaborate, learn, and build the things they imagine through a simple process called Creative Play. The Challenge lets children explore their interests and passions; teaches critical thinking, resourcefulness, perseverance, teamwork and other 21st century skills; and brings communities together to foster and celebrate child creativity.
