Comparing Volcanoes & lithosphere
Similarity and differences between Volcanoes & Lithosphere
Lithosphere
Lithosphere is the solid part of the earth. It is also the most rigid and coolest of earth's layer. Lithosphere is in between the atmosphere above and the asthenosphere below. The rocks on the lithosphere are found elastic, but not viscous.
Volcanoes, Earthquakes, and Mountain Building
Tectonic plates are accountable for the most traumatic geologic events. Earthquakes, volcanoes, and orogeny are all formed by tectonic activity in the lithosphere.
