Protecting God's Children Classes

St. Mary's offers Protecting God's Children Classes for parents who would like to volunteer at the school, attend class parties, or chaperone. We are offering classes in the church meeting room on:

  • Sunday, Sept. 18 at noon
  • Thursday, Sept. 29 at 6 pm

Each class can last about 2 1/2 hours. Refreshments are available but there will be no childcare. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Please let us know if you will be attending so we have accurate accommodations.

The Honey Bee Parade

This weekend is the Honey Bee Parade and once again this year, we will participate. We do not yet have information on where and when to line up, but as soon as it's available, we will pass that information to you. We ask that all students participate. Preschoolers, kindergartners, and first graders must have a parent stay with them. We are in need of candy donations to pass out during the parade. If you are able to help, please send this in by Sept. 23. We recommend not sending in chocolate candy as this melts too quickly on parade day. Thank you!

L & A Farms Field trip

Spirit Day

Every Friday is Spirit Day. Please send in 50 cents or a canned good to participate. Your child can then wear shorts or jeans with a St. Mary's School shirt!

Third-Fifth Graders Field Trip

Friday, September 23, the third-fifth graders are walking to the Historical Museum in the afternoon.

Sleeping Beauty at SMS

We had an impromptu visit from Sleeping Beauty! A three person cast came to our school Friday and put on the production. It was interactive, and the children seemed to enjoy it! Here are a few pictures!
